Kenneth O Spruill

KENNETH SPRUILL, son of the Late Kelly and Clara Spruill was born August 13, 1945 in Warrenton, North Carolina and departed this life on November 5, 2020. Kenneth was raised by his grandparents, Doc and Bulah Spruill. He was known as "Blue" to his close friends and family.

Kenneth accepted Christ at an early age. He was baptized at Greater Lovely Hill and was a member of that church for all of his young adult life.

After graduating Hawkins High School, Kenneth relocated to Baltimore, Maryland and found a new home. Shortly after, Kenneth met and married the love of his life, the late Mary Spruill. From that union two children were raised, Andre and Kia. He was employed at Northrop Grumman for over 42 years until his retirement.

Blue was a kind and generous man who loved fishing, playing cards and watching his Dallas Cowboys. He joined Zion Baptist Church where he was a faithful member until his health declined.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife and four siblings (Smokey, Murphy, Donnie and Pamela).

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory, two children; Andre and Kia; five grandchildren; Shon, A'rrika, Goddess, Tykwon, Kaliah; three great grandchildren, Kennedi, Riley and Karter; one sister, Marvaline; daughter-in-law, Dina; his parents in crime, Marvin and John; and a host of a family and friends.
