Kathleen Wright

Kathleen Jones (Wright) daughter of Elizabeth and Robert Jones was born on November 26, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life suddenly on March 6, 2021. Kathleen received her education in the Baltimore City Public School system.

Kathleen was employed at Goucher College as a cook, she also held other skilled jobs but the job that truly filled her soul was babysitting everyone. Momma as she was known was loved by everyone and never met a person whom she didn’t make feel comfortable like family. She always had a hot meal ready for all who entered her home with seconds available how she did it was like magic.

Momma always had a house full of love and in her earlier years and in earlier times when her health permitted she always welcomed members of her family of five generations daily.

Preceding her in death, her eldest sister Doreen Black.

Kathleen leaves to mourn five daughters, Bernice Henderson, Annie Mae Carter, Valerie Jones, Deborah Jones and Carlene Jones; two sisters, Delores Haskins and Ellen Davis; brother, Robert Jones; two sisters in-law, Gladys Jones and Pearl Springfield; eighteen grandchildren, and a host of great and great-great grandchildren, family and friends.
