JOYCE ANN GARDNER was born July 5, 1955 to the late Willie and Grace Gardner. After a lengthy illness, Joyce Ann entered eternal rest on December 27, 2022.
Joyce Ann received her formal education from the Baltimore City Public School System and the ARC Baltimore Loch Ridge Center until her health failed.
Joyce Ann liked singing and dancing. She knew all the Soul records from Aretha Franklin and Al Green. Joyce enjoyed helping people in their time of need and she liked sharing with others. She always looked forward to coming to church and attending different activities with her sister Juriner.
Joyce Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Grace Gardner, brother Alfonzo Jones and brother-in-law Curtis Wilson Sr.
Joyce Ann leaves fond memories to cherish: her caregiver and devoted sister Juriner Wilson and her younger sister Carol Means; two aunts, Mabel Carter of New York and Beatrice Jones of Virginia; six nephews, Reginald Berry, Curtis Wilson Jr., Cliff Wilson Sr., Antwoine Means, Alvone Jones and Antonio Warren; three nieces, Lisa Marner. Bettina Reid and devoted niece Ariel Johnson; eight great nephews, Cliff Wilson Jr., Jordyn Rippie, Malcolm Berry, Elijah Wilson, Ezron Johnson, Isaiah Berry, Antoine Means and Xavier Means; six great nieces, Lyric Marner, Saniyah Marner, Zariah Bloomfield, Cierra Berry, Scarlett Means, and Alexis Spencer; two sister-in-law, Dorothy Hawkins and Clarice Reid; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Joyce Ann was affectionally attached to some special people; Pastor Donna Chiarella, Margaret Dunlap, Ann Butler, Elder Dewanda Chandler and Terri Williams.
