Joseph Hopkins Jr.

JOSEPH HOPKINS JR, son of the late Joseph Hopkins Sr., was born August 28, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life unexpectedly on June 11, 2020. He received his education in the Baltimore City School System. After high school he had various jobs before gaining permanent employment with Mirabile Construction Company which he worked 40 years before retiring in 2015.

He met his mate Ruth Barney in 1979 before getting married in 1989. Joseph was known to family and friends as "Jumbo" was kind, generous, husband, father, grandfather, brother and son. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Preceding him in death father Joseph Hopkins Sr., two sisters, Sharon and Sandra, four brothers, Michael, Rodney, Johnnie and Eric.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 30 years Ruth Hopkins, mother, Lillian Hopkins, two daughters, Sherie (Marvin) and Cherry, one son, Joseph, four brothers, Herbert, Maurice, Tyrone and Nathaniel, one sister, Diane, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
