JOHN EARL WALKER, son of John Edward Walker and Gladys Avery-Washington, was born July 8, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on October 8, 2016 in Bon Secures Hospital, due to health related complications.
John Earl Walker received hid formal education in Baltimore City Schools. He was a tradesman, he held various positions on a plethora of jobs but the most memorable career choice was when he worked at the Bethlehem Steel Company with his two sons Jerell and Earl Walker.
Those who knew John may have referred to him by various names such as John Avery or Earl Avery but those that loved him fondly referred to him as Earl.
Earl possessed the inate ability to sing and draw exceptionally well. He was also known for utilizing terms of endearment such as "Baby girl" or "Baby boy". Earl made numerous friends and maintained close relationships with his brothers and sisters, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. It has been said that Earl was joined in marriage to a young lady by the name of Debra, there is no knowledge of any children from that union.
The Avery-Washington and Walker families would like to acknowledge very special people who touched Earl's life, Melvin Avery, John Jr. aka Nonnie, Cheryl Johnson and Edith Green.
Earl leaves to cherish his memories his mother Gladys Avery-Washington, his aunt Leola, his son Earl Montell Walker Jr., his siblings Debra, Andre, Eric, Pam, Sharon, Gregory, Maurice, John Jr., Reggie and Monet. His grandchildren, Jerrell Jr., Cornell, Tyrell, Shirell, Kennedie and Julleah. Ten great grand children, three sister in laws Coree, Sheray and Shirley as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
