John L. Parrish

John Lavar Parrish, son of John Parrish and Mattie Ruth Jones, was born in Baltimore Maryland, on January 28, 1992. He was called home on July 18, 2024, to be with his Heavenly Father. It is important to note that during his physical existence, John turned over his life to Christ and received him as his Lord and Savior.

John received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System.

John held several occupations in and around the city.  With the accumulation of multiple certifications and training courses. John found many opportunities to reap the benefits of his plethora of skills and abilities.

John would be most described as a vibrant, charismatic, caring individual. He carried the most gentle spirit to any space he entered, and leaves a major impact, even in his short amount of time here with us. John was a man of love, a man of family, but also a man of many gifts and talents. He is most well known in his community for his gifts on the basketball court as a young man. John also loved boxing, and was an extremely talented magician as well. Most of all, John was a great partner to Keyona, and an amazing father to his two beautiful baby girls, Autumn Sky Parrish and Ava Isis Parrish.

John leaves to mourn his parents, John Parrish and Mattie Ruth Jones; grandmother, Alice Purviance; children, Autumn and Ava; siblings,Nicole, Tanika, lan and Juan; nieces and nephews, Dwain, Destiny, Deshawn, Demetrius, Darian, Jahqwan, Jahsanna,and  lyania; aunts and uncles, and a host of cousins and other relatives.
