John D. Murdock

John D. Murdock was born on March 17, 1945 to the late Clara Louise Murdock-Walker. He was raised by his grandparents Louis & Marty Murdock. God called his son home on June 1, 2018 due to sudden illness.

Murdock who was also known as "Coach", "Big Murt", and to his immediate family, "Poochie". He received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools and went on to further his education at the University of Maryland.

Murdock was well known all over for his Coaching Abilities and Mentoring of the Youth in East Baltimore as well as other areas of Maryland. He resided in West Baltimore, but East Baltimore was where he spent his life. He was dedicated and worked for the City of Baltimore for over 50 years....WHAT DEDICATION & ACCOMPLISHMENT!!!!

He leaves to cherish his memories his East Baltimore Family: six sisters, Brenda, Judy, Carol, Ursula, Clara and Zina; six brothers, Carl, Jerome, Ollie, Michael, Ralph and Darryle who he precedes in death; Ethel Mae, Roslyn, William, Mary, Gail, Louis, and Stephanie who he lived & was raised with; a aunt, Barbara Murdock a uncle, Alfred Murdock and a host of other relatives and friends.
