John R. Chambers, Jr.

John R. Chambers Jr., son of late Marlene Sewell Kennedy and John R. Chambers Sr., was born on April 8, 1954, in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on February 19, 2020.

He received his education from Baltimore City Public Schools and The United States Army. He joined the United States Army February 27, 1976 and was honorably discharged September 24, 1978. He later was employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital.

He married Jacqueline A Chambers, and out of this union one child was born, Danielle M Chambers. He gained a son Larry D Chambers.

John had a love for music. He was a talented singer and was the lead singer for several groups. He also sang in a church choir. He was known to all for his kind heart.

He leaves to mourn: his wife, Jacqueline A Chambers; daughter, Danielle M Chambers; son, Larry D Chambers; four grandsons,  Devin Razor, Larry D Chambers Jr., Darius D Chambers and Derek M. Mack; one granddaughter, Heaven Franklin; brothers, Michael J Chambers and Dennis Jones. His brother Charles M Chambers preceeded him in death, his sister Gwendolyn Grimes, Uncle Jamal Rahmann and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
