Joan E. Woodson

Joan Elizabeth Woodson affectionately known as “Joanie”, daughter of the late William Robert Johnson and the late Jean Marie Faulkner, was born on August 1, 1967, in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on July 14, 2021.

Joanie successfully gained her education and graduated through the Baltimore City Public School system. She later obtained her bachelor's degree in science and honorably obtained her master's degree in Science in Management Information Systems from Bellevue University. Joanie retired from Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Programmer Analyst.

Joanie was a kind and loving person, who loved the Lord, her family and anyone she came across. She had a beautiful soul always willing to help someone and she loved to see everyone happy.

Joanie will be genuinely missed by everyone who knew her and will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Joanie leaves to cherish her memory: loving husband, John Woodson; four loving children, Russell Biscoe Jr., Rachel Biscoe, Jasmine Biscoe,Daquan Foster; seven loving grandchildren, Araeya Joanae Biscoe, Tyrone Thompson 3rd, Russell Biscoe 3rd, Joniah Thompson, Zyara Foster,Kami Jo’siah Biscoe, Destiny Rogers; loving godchildren Aniyah, Deasia, Keuran, Milan; loving brothers, the late George Faulkner, the late Pete Johnson, Mark Cole, Robert Johnson,Troy, Reno Pratt, Bernard Pratt, Eggy, Winslow, Bernard; loving sisters, Anita Pratt, Angela Hamlin, Eden Cole, Sissy; loving nieces and nephews Qualisha, Ronnica, Christian, Zoey, Lanita, Bobby, Brandon, Destiny, Robert,Scharbette, Zach, Nyah, Zane, Jarrod; loving cousins Latonia Faulkner, Donnetta Johnson, Maurice “Reese” Johnson, Leonetta Faulkner, Jenna Childs and a host of other relatives and friends. Joanie had a huge family and tons of friends.
