Jerrod K. Pryor Iii

JERROD PRYOR III was born on May 27, 1988 to Jerrod Pryor Jr. and the late Toni (Michelle) Singh. His untimely death occurred on December 9, 2023

Jerrod, also known as Squirrel, was confident and ambitious in his pursuit to open his own landscaping company called J & J.

Squirrel was a fashionable guy who loved designer clothing. His daughter referred to him as the Fashion King of Belair Road. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Whenever he visited his grandmother's home, he would call out "AY BRENDAAAA!" and she would reply, "Boy why are you making all that noise?" He would then greet her with a hug and express his love before leaving. Squirrel often stopped by to see his grandmother, Stephanie during his Daddy and Daughter rides with Jeniye after school. He loved hanging out with his brother, Jeqone and listening to loud music. He was a ladies man and had a contact list longer than the Mississippi River. Squirrel had a unique love language with his sister Destiny, which only they understood. Arguing and making up before they parted ways was always expected. Squirrel loved traveling. He would venture out and come back with stories about everything he saw. He enjoyed family dinners, always loading his plate with pork chops, but nothing made him happier than eating his favorite snack, Oreo cookies and milk.

Squirrel's first cousin, Meka was his best friend and gatekeeper to all secrets. Any time a concert was nearby, he and Meka would attend together, Squirrel also loved having deep conversations with his Aunt Sabrina and spending lots of time with his Aunt Teresa, who was his Safe Haven.

Squirrel was preceded in death by his mother, Michelle, whom he loved dearly and found comfort in visiting her grave site.

Squirrel was a true definition of a family man whose impact will be forever cherished. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive and love will be forever grained in everyone who knew him.

Squirrel's memories will forever be cherished by his father, Jerrod Pryor, Jr.; grandparents, Brenda and Clarence Garnett, Wilbert Mitchell, Stephanie Thomas; daughter, Janiye Pryor; brother, Jeqone Pryor; sister, Destiny Singh (Reggie); nephew, Tre; aunts, Teresa Shatten (Darryl) and Sabrina Cole; uncles, Dwayne Shatten and  Anthony Thomas (Rock) and Frankie Jones, his mother's beloved companion; cousins whom were raised like siblings, Dieatsha (Meka), Courtney (Bud), Darryl (Big D), Richie, Serena, Zion, Dwayne (DJ); godmother, Nicole Hicks, god sister, Jasmine and a host of other relatives and friends.
