Jeremiah A Brown

JEREMIAH ALONZO BROWN entered eternal rest on August 12, 2018.

He was born January 2, 1957 to Theda Brown and the late Elder George Brown. He was raised in a Christian home where his parents guided him and his siblings to have a relationship with God.

Jeremiah attended East Side Middle School, Warren Harding High School and received his diploma from Bassick High School in 1975. In 1976, he attended Housatonic Community College where he received  Certificate of Completion in Business Administration. In 1977, he joined the Army National Guard and retired as a Sergeant in 2001 with an honorable discharge. After 22 years of military service, Jeremiah received a Certificate of Completion in Cosmetology. Jeremiah loved to dress and he was able to sew his own clothes and make his own designs. His passion was catering to the public in his profession of cosmetology. He was comical and everyone loved him.

Jeremiah leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Aleasia Brown; stepsons, Dehaven and Daren Hairston; his mother, Theda Brown of Bridgeport, CT; brothers, George A. Brown (Erica), Naphtali E. Brown, John M. Brown (Clarrisa), Daniel L. Brown and Kris-Asa N. Brown (Tracy); sisters, Gabrielle M. Brown and Alisia J. Brown; and adopted sister/ best friend, Sheila Middleton-Stewart; a special friend, Evonne Topp; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Elder George Brown; a brother, James Mitchell Brown; and a sister, Eve A. Brown.
