Jazzmor K Davis

Jazzmor Kareem Davis (also known as Jazz or Jazzo) was born on July 10, 1985 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the son of Anna Terrell Davis and Joseph Moody. Jazzmor departed this life on the evening of November 15, 2020.

Jazzmor attended the Baltimore City Public Schools.

When Jazzmor was younger, he led the church choir. He had the gift of sight, seeing things that couldn’t be foreseen by others. He also had healing hands and was anointed by God, praying for those who were in need. He was always very happy, friendly, and well-liked by anyone who crossed his path. Jazzmor was polite, well mannered, and always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a prankster who kept us all laughing. During the holidays, he enjoyed cooking as well as eating. He was our number one hype man and our real superhero. He would do anything for his loved ones and give his last to a stranger. Jazzmor loved to sing and listen to music. Jazz had the biggest smile and a heart of gold, but could also be tough as nails.

Jazzmor was working as a guide for the Waterfront Partnership Downtown. He also worked several other jobs.

Although his life was tragically cut short he was very well loved.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories: his grandmothers, Lela Davis and Diane Simms; his sons Jermaine and Kendre; sisters (father’s side); brothers (father’s side); uncles William, Lawrence, Darryl, Gerald, Michael, Thomas, and Steven; aunts Alea (Muff), Hope and Danette; great aunts Teresa, Beverly, Alice, and Jackie, and a special friend Kendra Harvey and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and childhood friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Anna Terrell Davis, his maternal grandfather William Simms, paternal grandmother Mabel Moody, and great grandmother Virene Tinsley
