Jannie M. Ferguson

JANNIE FERGUSON, a loving and devoted wife and mother passed on Friday, October 21, 2022. She was 88 years old.

Jannie was born June 24, 1934 to the late John Edward Drummond and the late Rosa Lee Drummond of Brunswick County, Virginia.

Jannie was one of fourteen siblings. At an early age Jannie was baptized at Good Hope Baptist Church.

She received her education in the public school system of Brunswick County, VA.

Jannie married Samuel Ferguson in 1965, the love of her life, a hard working husband and devoted father in Baltimore, Maryland, thus beginning a remarkable union of 57 years.

Jannie was a homemaker and stay at home mom, beautiful wife, mom, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Her family said she leaves a beautiful legacy and many blessed memories.

She is preceded in death by Samuel Ferguson (Husband of 57 years) and daughter Clarice Williams.

She is survived by: her daughters, Renee Ferguson, Sharon Ferguson-Owens and Crystal Bess (William). Seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Siblings: Nellie Fuller of Virginia, Jimmy Drummond of Pennsylvania, Sallie Brodnax of Maryland, Thelma Quarles of Maryland and Frank Drummond of Pennsylvania and other relatives and friends.
