Jamie S. Blunt

Jamie Shanille Blunt was born August 9, 1986, to Janet Jackson Watson and James Blunt in Baltimore, Maryland. Jamie, affectionately called Shanille by family and friends, was suddenly called home to spread her wings on April 28, 2022.

Shanille received her education in the Baltimore School System.

She held various jobs throughout her life, but Pharmacy Technician was her passion. She realized later in life how good she was with numbers and started doing taxes. She aspired to one day go into Finance.

Shanille was an amazing person with a big heart. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Shanille was loving, generous and very family oriented. She adored her kids dearly and showered them with love. A bit quirky and a little different, she definitely stood out in a crowd. Shanille would have you in tears laughing with her silly personality and crazy Antics. Loved by all who had the pleasure to know her, Shanille was a Gem and will truly be missed.

Alongside she will fly beside her dearly departed stepfather James Watson and Aunt Linda (Lynn-Lynn) Jackson and her fiancé Justin Marasa.

Shanille leaves to cherish her memory, her loving mother Janet Jackson Watson; her father, James Blunt; two sons, Xzavion Copeland and Zion Townes Bey; two sisters, Shenika Blunt–Malone and Azijah Blunt; four brothers, James Watson, Ascion Blunt, Prince “Tyree” and DaJuan; brother in-law, Damon Malone; niece, DeaJah and nephew Kalil. She will always sorely be missed by a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
