James was born to the late James Frank Morris,
Sr., and Juanita Harris on July 26, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland.
He received his education in the public schools of
Baltimore City. He later received his diploma from
Baltimore City Community College in 2012.
James affectionally known as "Big Jim". He was a
supervisor and retired after 42 years of service from the Department of Public works Bureau of Water & Wastewater. He also worked as a counselor at Mountain Manor. He gave his life to Christ at a early age.
His greatest love was his family. He simply adored his daughter and grandchildren. Big Jim was a loving and caring person. He was very popular and very well liked and loved by all he knew him. Big Jim would always make you laugh and make sure you had a great time.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving daughter, Barbara Boyd; six grandchildren, Marcus, Charles, Garrett, Tazra, Angelia, and La'Drian; five great grandchildren, Jamartae, Jalill, Man-Man, Zariya, and Kori; three
goddaughters Tracey, Latanya, and Marlo; one godson, Tony, and a host of cousins, and other relatives and friends.
