Mr. James Scott Quickley, was born on July 24,1967, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Mr. Ronald L. Quickley and Mrs. Patsy Lou Davis-Quickly. He unexpectedly departed this life on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at the age of 53. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System.
James became a father at a young age to Joquitta, Shoquitta, Keonte’, Deonte’, and Velesa through a relationship with his then childhood sweetheart Ms. Emily Taylor.
After many years, James reunited with and married his soulmate, Mrs. Amanda Quickley (Fisher), forming a blended family with step-daughter, Torokah and James’ five children.
James was fashionable and enjoyed dancing. He was also a lover and protector of people, always coming to the rescue of others. He cherished his family, friends, and pet dog Cody.
As an adult, James possessed many skill sets; However, his passion was landscaping. He seized every opportunity to improve his talent as a landscaper, often lending this talent to those in need.
A quiet and caring man, James is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronald L. Davis, Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda; brother, Jasper Brown (Hope); in-laws, Lavera, Pauline, and Sonia (Richard); six children (listed above); grandchildren, Aiden, Breyon, Durrell, Kamarrah, Maverick, Reign, and Tarique; aunts, LillyBell and PeDrick; close cousins, Thomas and Velesa; a host of nieces and nephews, and many close friends & family.
