James Musgrove

JAMES MUSGROVE, was born Saturday, August 11, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Haywood Musgrove, Sr. and Esther Musgrove.

James was educated in Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Dunbar Senior High School. He later served his country proudly as member of the United States Air Force where he received an honorable discharged. James would go on to be formally married to Etta Thomas. He was employed by the city of Baltimore and retired after over 30 years of service.

James was baptized in October 2001 by Pastor, Marshall Prentice at Zion Baptist Church. He was a faithful member and dedicated servant of God. Everyone as knew him as Mr. Musgrove or Uncle James. Once his health began to decline his sister Betty always made sure to get him to church until being placed in an assistant living home.

James was dedicated to helping others, especially to his family and friends. He took care of lottie, dottie and everybody. He loved his mother and cared for her until she passed in 1992.

James Musgrove leaves to cherish his memories; two very devoted sisters, Esther James and Betty Musgrove; an older brother, Haywood Musgrove Jr.; a very devoted niece Michelle Johnson(Sam) of Baltimore, Maryland; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, family and friends.
