James M. Mills

JAMES M. MILLS was born August 31, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the son of the late Matthew and Rosie Mills. On September 1, 2017 God called James home.

James graduated from Paul L. Dunbar High School and also received his Associate Degree from Dundalk Community College. He was employed at Armco Steel as a Welder for over 20 years and Durrett Sheppard Steel Company for 5 years.

At an early age James received Christ as his savior. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church. As a devout Christian there were conversations he shared with his family, co-workers, friends and strangers.

He was a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother and friend. James never forgot occasions, would look out for anybody and loved to cook. He was a caring servant with a strong personality that you could depend on faithfully.

James was preceded in death by his two sisters Rosie Mills and Beulah Mills.

James leaves behind his loving daughter Tia Mills-Holmes, son-in-law Lloyd Holmes III, granddaughter, Cayla Clarke, two grandsons Cy'ree Clarke and Shamar Holmes, sister Ruth Andrews, brother-in-law Leo Andrews, nephew, Dwayne Andrews; niece, Sherita Andrews, two great-nieces, Kirsten Mattison and Kristian Walker, longtime friend Marquerite Thompson, cousins, family and many loving friends.
