James H. Jefferson

JAMES HOPKINS JEFFERSON was born to the late Lena and Richard Holmes. He departed this life on December 23, 2022. He was the third child of his siblings.

James received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He loved to dance, eat, have fun and make his family & friends laugh. James worked at Union Memorial Hospital as an OR Tech and later transferred to Environmental Services until his health started to fail.

James four siblings, Hazel Bartee, McKinley Jefferson, Rebecca Lipsey, Edward Holmes and son, Cedric Hopkins Jefferson proceed him in death.

James leaves to cherish one sister, Ellen Jacobs; 3 children, Gloria Jefferson, James Waller (Shelia) and LaWanda Jefferson Foster; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grand children and a favorite nephew, Rev. Floyd Neal and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
