James Albert Dickerson son of the late James and Evelyn Dickerson was born on December 15, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed his life on July 11, 2024 after a brief illness.
James received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Dunbar High School.
James, affectionately known as “Fats” to family and friends, worked numerous jobs starting at a young age. He worked for the Baltimore Sun paper, as an Arab on the horse and wagon and for John Hopkins Hospital as a Supply Coordinator for nearly 30 years.
He met and fell in love with his soulmate the late Anicia Davis And spent 28 wonderful years together.
Fats loved watching movies, talking to his nieces and nephews (teasing them and joking of course), hanging with family and friends and his favorite playing the lottery, hoping to always win big.
James leaves to love and cherish his memory: sisters, Brenda Moore, and Dorothy Dickerson; brothers, Linwood Dickerson and Richard Dickerson; aunts, Elizabeth Bruner and Margaret Roberts; nieces, Cassandra, Unique, Jessica, Irene and Krissy; nephews, James, Robert, Raymond, Marvin and Douglas; brother-in-laws, Darryl Moore and Michael Moore; a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins; best friends, Pete Brown, Roger Jones, Henry and Sharon Hamilton; special moms, Ms Sarah and Ms. Bernadette Hart.
