JAMES DAVIS was born to James Davis Sr. and Eva (Eaddy) Davis on December 6, 1929. He was preceded in death by his brother Barton Davis, son Jams Howard Davis Sr., daughter Hattie Mae (Queen) Davis and cousin Junior Boatwright.
James was educated in South Carolina and met Nanette Boatwright, love was in the air and two wed in June of 1949, at the courthouse in Florence County, South Carolina. A gentle man he was, he leaves to cherish; three daughters, Alice L. Davis, Eva (Davis) Drakeford, and Melissa Davis Cole; one son-in-law, George Cole; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren and nineteen great-great grandchildren; long time friend, Bishop Fred Junior Grimm and a host of other relatives and friends.
