James F Bacote Jr.

Mr. James Franklin Bacote Jr. son of the late James Franklin Bacote Sr. and Victoria Gee Bacote was born in Darlington County, South Carolina on August 17, 1943. James fought a good fight and God called him home to rest on June 17, 2024, he was surrounded by family and friends at home.

He obtained his education in the public schools of Darlington County, South Carolina he moved to Baltimore in 1963 where he later graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute as a transmission specialist. He also owned his own business “Green Door Auto '' he was the doctor of motors; He was also good at Karate and Judo.

He met Mildred in 1963 and they had four beautiful children.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Dominique;  two grandchildren Jimmy and Shakia; four brothers Robert, Daivd, Larry and Windell.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Mildred; one son Willam: two daughters Lisa (Frederick) and Dionne; one daughter preceded him in death, Dominique and one bonus daughter Monia; two sisters Saundra J. Bacote and Gwendolyn Smalls of Darlington County South Carolina, Two sister in-laws Josie Johnson and Rosa L. Bacote; Sixteen grandchildren Arika, Natalie, Nicole, William, John, Davon, Xaiver, Brianna, Ranell, Ron, Randall, Lil Lisa, Isaiah, Micheal, Kodee and Skylar; eleven great grands and a host of nieces and nephews, two special nieces and nephew Ashley, Diamond and Colie–pooh. A special cousin Elle Author, and Best friend Jojoe.
