Isaac P. Segar Jr.

Isaac P. Segar Jr., affectionately known as Baby Isaac, son of

Dereka Harvey and Isaac Segar Sr. , was born on May 7, 2013. He

departed this life on July 16, 2017. Baby Isaac was a blessing to his

family and anyone he came in contact with. In his four years Isaac

touched many lives. His presence could change your mood for the

better. We will miss him and his beautiful smile.

Isaac was dedicated to the Lord on September 22, 2013. He was

enrolled in Baltimore City Public School’s Infant and Toddlers

program. He received extensive therapy from the Kennedy Krieger

Institute. He was such a joy, a blessing to all. His smile could light up

a room. Isaac loved music church and watching cartoons. His favorite

cartoon was Pokoyo. He smiled from ear to ear during his physical

therapy sessions. If he did not like an activity he would let you know.

Baby Isaac was loved by many but “there is no greater love than that

of a mother for her son!!” Dereka was totally dedicated to his daily

care and ensuring his quality of life was the absolute best. She

adored him as he did her. She would do anything just to see him

smile.

Our precious Isaac leaves to cherish his memory: devoted mom,

Dereka Harvey; dad, Isaac Segar; step-father, Eugene Doughty; loving

sister, Kaimiara Burnside; late grandfather, Derek Harvey; grandfather

Gerald Day; grandmothers Robin Marshall and Cecelia Kelly;

great-grandmother, Barbara Harvey; aunts, Tanika, Kia, Kellie and

Robin; uncle, Derek Jr., his favorite nurse, Ms. Kiaonna; cousins and a

host of family and friends, too many to name.
