IRVIN MAC LEWIS SR. son of the late Irvin Lewis and Mary Speed was born on September 5, 1942 in Baltimore Maryland. On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, God in his infinite wisdom saw the hills were getting hard to climb and called Irvin home to eternal rest.

Butch met Inez Dozier and together they had four children; Sheron Lewis, Irvin Jr, Reggie Lewis and Jon Ritch. Later Butch met and married Diane and to this union they had one son Terry Lewis, and two step children; Avera Turner and Stephen Turner.

Butch loved his family especially his children, brothers, grandchildren and great grands. He enjoyed playing cards, coloring, doing word search books and cooking. In Butch’s younger years, He and his brothers enjoyed driving to Ellicott City to ride the horses.
