Hugh I. Watts III, known to family and friends as 'Buster' or 'Watts', was born on September 14, 1949 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Hugh I. Watts Jr. and Frances Welch Watts. He departed his earthly body, surrounded by family, following a lengthy illness on Sunday June 4, 2016.

Watts attended the Indianapolis public school system, graduated from Arlington High School; and later enlisting and serving four years in the United States Air Force.

In 1972, he met , fell in love and married , his life-long soul-mate, Jeanette Carver, of Baltimore , Maryland. Together, they raised one son, Marvin Carver. In 1979, Watts returned with is family to Indianapolis, Indiana.

Desiring to be a better man, and in control of his destiny, Watts enrolled in the Business Administration. His drive and motivation, never got in the way of his responsibility of family, while attending college he also worked as a full-time clerk with the Defense Finance and Accounting Services(DFAS).

In 1983, Watts and his family returned to Maryland, where he was employed as a Civilian Truck Driver for the U.S Army at Fort Meade, Maryland. Always aspiring to achieve greater, and not settle in life for a career which he could not have full control pf, he continued his education in Business Administration at Morgan State University; all the while providing for his family as a full-time diver for Waste Management Corporation. Watts would meet while employed at Waste Management Corporation his best friend of the next forty-two years, Warick Spence.

Spence, as he would come to be known to extended Watts family, shared Watts enthusiasm for business, family responsibility , and taking charge of one's destiny; this was the foundation of their friendship and later business partners. During this friendship, Watts was employed with Spence Trucking and would later start Watts Trucking in 1997.

Watts personality allowed him to go any place and fit in anywhere. his conversation mannerism, and behavior were exemplary of his work ethic. motivation to be and do better, and his commitment to friendship and family.

He was an awesome provider, father paternal role model, and mentor to anyone who needed such in their lives. These qualities were effortless for him, evident by the many lives that he touched. His introspective wisdom motivated him to be better for himself, one committed to responsibility , one determined, one that leaves a legacy for his loved ones.

He is proceeded in death by (grandparents: Hugh I. Watts Sr. and Bertha street Watts)six sisters, Frances Courtney, Anna Cruse, Jacqueline Rutledge, Delia Satterfield, Eloise Roberts, and Hughetta Watts; two brothers, John Roberts, and Steven Watts; and two brother-in-law, Willie James Cherry, Sr., and Dennis Lee Carver, Sr.

Hugh I. Watts III leaves to cherish his memory a wife, Jeanette Watts; one son, Marvin Carver; one sister, Sandra Brown(Charles 'Binkey' Brown); a 'daughter-like' niece, Jennifer Satterfield; a best friend, Warick Spence; and a host of other nieces , nephews, family, and friends.
