HERMAN LEE WALKER, was born January 10, 1970, to Herman Jenkins and Ernestine Walker. The youngest of 5 Herman sadly departed this life on February 12, 2022, after a short battle with cancer.
Herman affectionately known as "Big Worm", to family and close friends received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools and later received his G.E.D. In school he was known for his excellent academics and his penmanship. He enjoyed sports; he was an exceptional basketball player in his youth. He also enjoyed playing cards with his parents, checkers with his dad and any other games where he would reign the champ. Recently he looked forward to Saturday night bus trips to the casino with family and friends and getting scratch offs.
Herman Walker worked at MV Transportation and Annapolis Seafood until his illness.
Herman has one daughter Tikera with whom he shared with his middle school sweetheart Shantay. Herman adored his daughter and was especially close to his grandsons Titan & Legend. "Pop-Pop" enjoyed getting his grandkids to go to the park and to get snacks. Herman always used every opportunity he could to teach his grandson about sports. Herman was spoiled by his parents and siblings and because of that he knew how to show love and give love. Herman was loved by everyone he encountered for his witty personal and charm.
Herman leaves a lasting legacy in the heart of his parents, Ernestine Walker and Herman Jenkins; daughter Tikera Walker; grandsons Titan Walker and Legend Bates; sisters, Diane Davis, Ruth Mears (Nolan Mears), Ernestine Johnson (Robert Johnson), Catina, Sandra and Wanda Tate, Roberta and Kim Outlaw and Doris Outlaw who proceeded him in death. Brothers, Anthony Walker, Jerome Walker and Gary Outlaw who proceeded him in death. Childhood friends, Richard McCall, Jerome Barber and Andre Ward; loving companion, Michelle Goines (Sugar); bonus daughters, Keona & Shayla; aunts, Donna Outlaw (Johnny), Arlene Sellers, Shirley Street, Omelia Fenner and Uncle, Earnest Outlaw (Shirley) and special cousins, Yvette Jenkins and Roger Fenner and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, relatives and friends.
