Harriet Mobley was born on January 25, 1958 in Baltimore, MD to the late Lucille Mobley and Robert Lee Simpson. She was called home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2024.

Harriet was born at City Hospital in Baltimore. She began her education in Baltimore City Public Schools. She is an esteemed Poet, graduating from Paul Laurence Dunbar High. With a keen eye for detail, hard work and dedication. She was successful in her position as a maintenance administrator for Verizon for 35 years. Never to shy away from being social Harriet established many long term friendships with her Verizon Colleagues.

Harriet enjoyed sports, her favorite team was The Patriots, often going to and watching sporting with her baby, John Bryant. When not rooting for The Patriots, Harriet enjoyed spending time with her close friends, traveling, and spending time and video-chatting with her baby girl, Addison.

Harriet was full of life and had a bubbly, energetic, engaging personality. She had a beautiful smile and was always willing to show it. She was often the life of the party.

She was preceded in death by Lutricia Madison, John (White Baby) H. DeLilly, & Diane Mobley.

She leaves to celebrate her memory: Her loving son, John (Chenell) DeLilly; granddaughters, Peyton, Paige, and Addison; Brothers, David & Larry Mobley; niece, Tiffany Bridgeforth; nephew, Linwood Bridgeforth; great-nephews, Adam and Andrew Bridgeforth and a host of relatives, and friends.
