Harriet L Mcclinton

HARRIET "LU-LU" MCCLINTON born to the late Eldora Graham and Purnell Gilmore on July 22, 1961 in Chester, South Carolina. She went home to be with Lord on October 12, 2018.

Harriet "Lu-Lu" McClinton received her education in the Baltimore City Public Schools System and graduated from Lake Clifton Eastern High School in Baltimore, Maryland.

Lu worked at Blue Point Nursing Home in the housekeeping department for several years until her health started to decline.

Lu was baptized and joined Apostal True Foundation under the leadership of Bishop Verleen Doughty.

Lu was a lover of sports and enjoyed watching the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles. She also enjoyed taking trips to the various casinos. In her spare time, Lu enjoyed crocheting and also picking football polls during the football season.

Lu loved baking her favorite dessert, "Cherry Jubilee" and many of her seafood dishes. her most favorite dis was liver and onions.

Lu was the mother of two sons, Dwayne and Jerome McClinton and two daughters, Jacqueline Billy and Kia McClinton.

Lu preceded in death by her two brothers, Melvin Sr. and Earl Sr. McClinton.

Harriet leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted children, Jacqueline Billy (Jerome), Dwayne McClinton (Takia), Jerome McClinton, Kia McClinton (James) and adopted son, Donte' White; five brothers, Kenneth, Donald, Mitchell Sr., Micheal McClinton; three sisters-in-law, Joann, Sharon and Tanya McClinton; two brothers-in-law, Glendall, Mack and Richard Jordan; seven grandchildren, Davon Davis, Kamyia Giddins-McClinton (Reginald), D'Asia McClinton, Makayla and Kamyia McClinton, Jasmine Staten and Nairi Rollins; one god-daughter, Malika McClinton; special friends, Juanita Sutton, Marie Word-Johnson, Dean Gillis, Terry Thomas, Angie Steward- Lewis and Patrice Dean; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
