Harold J. Goods

Harold J. Goods was born September 12, 1946 to the late Royster and Virgie Goods in Baltimore, Md. On November 18, 2019 he was called home to eternal rest.

Harold was the beloved brother of (15) brothers and sisters, (13) of them whom preceded him in death, Alfonso, Albert, Eddie, George, Joseph, Alglen, John, Eligher, William, James, Elmer, Emma Brandon, Hattie Mae Harris and Fannie Turner.

He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He worked several jobs, 19 years with Baltimore City and later worked as a transporter at GBMC for 10 years, until his health started to fail and he retired.

On August 29, 1969 Harold married Phillis Lynn Goods and from this union they had 3 children Paul, Dwayne, and Towanda Goods.

Harold was a member of Christian Temple Baptist Church, where he enjoyed singing on the choir and keeping the church clean. He also took joy in cooking, dancing and just spending time with his family.

Later in life he met and became companion with Mary Greer until she preceded him in death. During these years he helped raise three step-sons as his own, George Jones, Derrick Greer, and Antwaun Greer who preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories wife, Phillis L. Goods; six children, Paul, Harold, Dwayne Goods, Towanda Goods-Pollard, George Jones, Derrick Greer; one, son-in-law, Twan Pollard; twelve grandchildren; one grandson-in-law, four great grandchildren, one brother, Willie Goods; two sisters-in-law, Eleanor and Sarah Goods. A host of nieces and nephews as well as his Christian Temple Baptist Church family.
