Gloria M. Foster

GLORIA M. FOSTER was born on July 23, 1958 to Gloria Ash and the late Edward Foster. She departed this life on Saturday October 21, 2023.

Gloria, better known as "Sassy" was an up beat and highly determined woman, very independent, a great business woman who was self taught and she taught through her actions.

She graduated from Baltimore City Public Schools.

Sassy was also one to terrorize you for her own personal fun. She loved controversies and to be the one to start it, she feared nothing. She loved to be amongst people, always willing and going places alone. She loved animals, family, going downtown, music and movies.

Gloria was that woman who was never our friend. She only maintained the position of Mother, enough that she gave out verbal ass whippings. As we got older and without question she was hard to handle. She did her best in life in raising us. We love you Ma.

She was preceded in death by her father Edward Foster; grandparents, Margaret and Woodrow Dockins; aunts and uncles, Goldie Baker, Woodrow Dockins Jr., Robert Dockins, Silvia Carroll, Ralph Dockins and Bernita Dockins.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memories; sons, Antonia Foster, Morris McDaniels and Boaz Hinton; mother, Gloria Ash; grandchildren, Shawntasia Hinton, Tacanna Hinton, Morris McDaniels 3rd, Layla Foster and Naomi Hinton; sisters and brothers, Edward Foster, Elvera Foster, Michelle Julius, Sonja Davis and Reuben Ash Jr.; aunt, Regina Blake (Orlando) and a host of other relatives and friends.
