Georgette M. Brown

GEORGETTE MAE BROWN, born on November 14, 1940, was raised by her loving parents, the late William and Vergie Paylor Sr. She was called home to eternal rest on December 20, 2016. Georgette was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in 1958. On July 27, 1968, Georgette married Samuel, who she adored. They shared many happy times together. They willingly shared their love with their children and opened their home to become foster parents to many children. Georgette accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Faith Baptist Church by Rev. Simon Williamson. She was an active member of Faith for many years. Georgette was ordained to the ministry at the True Fellowship Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Carroll Jones. She truly loves sharing God's word and enjoyed helping others. Because of her outgoing personality and fun-loving spirit, those in her presence would often find themselves laughing uncontrollably with joy. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Samuel; her devoted daughter, Naetosha Harris; four sons, Samuel Jr., Everette, Donald and Michael; two daughters, Angela Olowookere and Tiffany Patterson; two sons-in-law, Kevin A. Harris and David Olowookere; daughter-in-law, Tammy; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, John D. Paylor Sr.; sister, Cassandra L. Reed; two sisters-in-law, Christine and Bernice; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
