Frederick R. Saunders

FREDERICK RANDOLPH SAUNDERS, son of the late Jordan Saunders and the late Roberta Wayne, was born September 28, 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland. He had two sisters, the late Rosia Saunders and one surviving sister, Jessie Dupree.

He attended Elementary School #101 and graduated from Dunbar High School.

Frederick was employed at McCormick and Company for 45 years from which he retired because his health no longer allowed him to work.

He met his wife, Sheila Ferges Saunders, and out of this union one son, Frederick Jr. and two daughters, Judetta Saunders and Jene Saunders (Wise) and also one daughter, Shayla Saunders (Thomas) along with sons-in-law, Lamont Wise and Rev. Shawntay Thomas.

He leaves behind six grandchildren, Shanita Saunders, Rodney Jackson, Jaylin Evans, DaSha Heath, Lamont Wise Jr. and Nya Wise; two brothers-in-law, the Rev. Andrew Ferges and Allen Ferges; four sisters-in-law, Geraldine Washington, Diane Love, Corrine Ferges and Debbie Ferges; two godsons, Anton Brock and William Byrd; one special friend, Muriel Joseph; friend, Edward Brewington; a host of nieces, nephews, otherrelatives and friends.
