EVA MAE ALEXANDER entered this world on December 26, 1924 in Drakes Branch, Virginia. Eva was the
third child born to the late Richard Pulliam and the late Pearl Pulliam. She began her education in Virginia and later in Baltimore when her parents decided to relocate.

On August 4, 1945, Eva became the bride of Melvin Alexander. There are three daughters, Shirley, Barbara, and Evon.

Eva retired from the Johns Hopkins Hospital after working there for 47 years. She began working as a housekeeper, and ten years before retiring, she became a supervisor in the same department. Eva
received many citations for her years of dedicated service and excellent work ethic.

Eva's membership at Memorial Baptist Church began on January 3, 1954. She continued as a part of the Missionaries until her health began to fail. Although absent from the fellowship, she kept in touch with the happenings at Memorial through her good friends the late Beulah Mae Allen and the
late Willie Mae Babb. Often during the week, she would be on the telephone with Sisters Darthea Davis and Delores Bond just "staying in touch."

She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters: Shirley Means, Barbara Allen, and Evon Tabron; grandchildren, Raquel Boyce, Ronald Boyce, Jr. (Mary), Shawn Harlee, and Chante'Tabron; sons in-law, Benjamin Means, Donald Allen, and Charles Thompson; a devoted sister, Ann Douglas; great grand children, DeRon, Jordan, Jazmyn, and Mia Evon who became of the apple of her eye; one great-great grandson, Marlo, Johnnie Mae Taylor; her non-biological daughter; nieces, nephews,
