Estelle Delores Boston, daughter of the late Mary E. Boston and Joshua T. Shelton, was born June 20, 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed her life suddenly on February 23, 2016, God dispatched his angels to grant her wings into eternal rest. She was the third daughter out of 13 Children. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Melvin Shelton and Robert Hamilton.

A Journey Through Life: "Boston to co-workers, Lois to her friends, Grandma to her daycare kids and all of the neighborhood children. She received her formal education in the Baltimore City Public School System and was a graduate of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in 1969, she furthered her education and studied Business at Goucher College.

After college she gained employment at The Johns Hopkins Hospital for 39 years, until she retired on January 14, 2008. As cooking was her passion, her gift of cosmetology was also something she took joy in doing. She loved to travel and spend time with her grandkids and daycare kids. Too know her was to love her and most that knew her couldn't help feel the love that she extended to all. She was a confidant and always there to be supportive and guide you in the right direction.

Her walk with Christ was evident in the life she lived, when your roots are grounded to always fear and trust God, she knew she was to maintain a covering over her life. She joined the United Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Carl Solomon and remained a member until her untimely death.

"Lois" was an original member and active Secretary of the "The Jelly Bean Family" within the group, extended families were formed. Being a member for 34 years, the memories will continue to last forever. From the annual gatherings, to the many trips and getaways she will truly be missed but never forgotten, especially her world famous "Punch". She was also a member of the Eastern Stars.

Estelle leaves to cherish her memories one son, Robert Boston, one son-in law; Kevin Pinkney; two Daughters, Chante Boston , and Naldese "Pie" Greene, three grandchildren; grandsons: Chaze Boston & Dejuan Perry, granddaughter: Niyah Ross; nine Sisters: Beulah, Diane, Gwendolyn, Helen, Velma, Valarie, Eunice, Janice, Cynthia; three brothers: James, William and Anthony. four brother-in-laws: Kenneth, Wilbert, Jeremiah, Christopher. Her devoted nephew Rodney Shannon whom she raised as her own six God Children; Sharon Sparks, Kennard Pugh, Marty McGraw, Shameka McFadden, Stephon James and Brock Veal, Sr., a lifetime and devoted best friend Laura Pugh and a longtime companion Johnny Hall, and her childhood best friend Doris Sparks; and a host of nieces, nephews, friend Doris Sparks; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
