EMMA HALL-MONT was born to the late Francis and Viola Hall in Baltimore, Md., where she received her education from Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School. For many years she was a cook in Little Italy before transitioning to Stella Maris and making history by becoming their first employee to work the Hospice unit for 20 years. Everyone she encountered found that she was very easy to talk to, loveable and always having a happy spirit. In between watching Westerns, she was a collector of rare and antique dolls and stuffed animals; especially Garfield, the cat.
Emma lived life traveling, having a continuous and faithful relationship with God, cooking and hosting family functions where a lifetime of memories were created. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great -grandchildren are the center of her world and there is nothing too big or too small that she wouldn't do for them. Emma, being the last of 10 siblings to gain her wings, has joined family.
She is proceeded in death by her youngest son Randy Mont. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Lillian Mont, Purnell Mont, Lumell Mont, Ronnie Mont (Donna),; grandchildren, David McCutchon Jr.(Angela), Lumell Mont Jr., Lakeisha Mont, Latanya Cook, Terri Mont, Tichet Bradshaw (Marlon), Vanessa Mont, Crystal Mont, Veronica Mont, Carla Johnson (Joi), Kayona Arnold; great-grandchildren, Anajahasia Handy, D'Nyah Lyde, James Gant-Hunter, Deidre Bradshaw, Antoine Snyder, Antonio Lewis, Paige Forbes, Durrell Forbes, Bailey Mohorn; great-great grandchildren, Antoine Snyder Jr., Ashton Berry, Aryn Berry, Ge'Mari Dougla, Bryson Johnson, Braylon Johnson; bonus child, Janice Paige; bonus grandchild, Jessica Paige, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones.
