Eloise L. Scott

Our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and aunt, Eloise Lorraine Scott, the daughter of the late Louise and James Fields was born on June 20, 1944 in Crewe, Virginia. She departed this life on April 19, 2019 after a lengthy illness.

Eloise received her education in the Baltimore Public Schools. She was employed with Sheraton Hotels for over 20 years. Eloise enjoyed one of her several hobbies, bowling.

Eloise united with the St. Joseph Freewill Baptist Church where she served faithfully on the Usher's Ministry and Choir until her health declined. Eloise was a loving and faithful servant and enjoyed praising the Lord.

Eloise married the late James Scott and out of this union four children were born, Alvin, Phyllis, Melvin and Kevin (who preceded her in death).

Eloise will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Alvin Scott and Melvin Scott; one daughter, Phyllis Scott; three sisters, Flo, Esterine and Bue; one brother-in-law, Douglass; one very dear friend who was as close as a sister, Denise Gaskins; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
