DWAYNE LEE COOK loving and devoted son of the late Ruth and Jasper Cook. He introduced his family with his presence on July 11, 1957. Leco as he was affectionately called was loved by all who knew him.

Leco was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System where he was part of the first graduating class of the new Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School in 1975. He was employed at several jobs: USF&G, John Hopkins Hospital, and the Department of Public Works until his retirement in 2018.

Leco enjoyed playing and watching sports. he especially enjoyed watching the neighborhood basketball games at the Madison Square Dome. Leco was a loyal and devoted Ravens football fan. If you knew Leco, he was very protective and devoted to his family.

Dwayne Lee Cook suddenly departed this life from his family on March 9, 2019. He leaves us to cherish his memory: daughter Kia Cook(John), two grandsons John McCargo III and Khari McCargo, great-granddaughter Jonnai McCargo; five sisters, Jacqueline "Jackie" James (Joe), Janice "Peanut" Cook, Nadine "Teeny" Cook and two sisters proceeding him in death; Patricia Polk and Kenya Cook; two brothers; Anthony "Tony" Cook and Bryant "Tap" Jones; two aunts Addie Johnson and Ida Mae Rather; one uncle; Vernon Cook; eighteen, nieces and nephews, twenty-eight great nieces and nephews, twenty-five great great nieces and nephews;  A devoted friend, Rosalind Bailey; best friend, Charles Waller and extended family from Virginia; he also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.
