Donnell W. Smith Jr.

Donnell, son of the late Donnell Smith Sr and the late LaTonya “Niecy” Smith, was born on March 23, 1985 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life suddenly on September 20, 2021 and entered into eternal rest to be joined with family and friends that have passed on.

Donnell received his education in the Baltimore Public School System. He worked at Eric’s and Senior Living for several years and loved helping the elderly in the community.

Donnell enjoyed family time, especially spending time with his pride and joy, his baby boy Kingston while patiently awaiting the arrival of his soon to be born daughter in November 2021. He was ready and eager to share his love and time with his unborn child. He would often call his sister Kaili early in the morning to wake her and say, I told daddy I was going to look after you. The bond they shared was unmatchable.

Donnell was a devoted father, brother, uncle and friend who will truly be missed. His kindness, love and smile will surely be missed.

Donnell preceded in death his mother Niecy (1991), his father Donnell (2020), and close uncle Al (2021).

Donnell leaves to mourn his son Kingston Smith; sister, Kaili Bennette-Smith; two aunts, Carol (Milton) and Ellen; three uncles Paul, Michael (Belinda) and Andre Sr.; one nephew, Seven; two special cousins/brothers AJ and Tevin, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was a devoted brother to his sister Kaili whom he took pride in being her protector and big brother. He also leaves behind a very loving and devoted friend, Shakia, the mother of his children.
