God almighty in his providence called from labors on earth to an everlasting home, the soul of Devin Christopher Hardy Sr. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
Devin Christopher Hardy Sr., son of Jean Baker (Fenner) and Gilbert Hardy, was born Sunday, September 28, 1969, in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on, June 11, 2024. He was preceded in death by his son, Devin Christopher Hardy Jr.
Devin Christopher Hardy received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System receiving his General Equivalency Diploma. His love for foods had him to attend Culinary School for a short time. He worked several jobs ending his tenure with a disability in his later years.
Devin had a very open heart of sharing and caring about his family and friends. He loved his mother dearly but the bond he had with his older brother Darelle was unbreakable. They always had each other's back. Throughout his life he made many friends wherever he went. He enjoyed visiting his family at family gatherings, cookouts and events. Where there was food, there was Devin. He also enjoyed family cruises that took him across the waters to different Caribbean Islands.
He was preceded in death by his son, Devin Christopher Hardy Jr. and his grandmother, Codes Fenner. He leaves to cherish his mother Jean Baker (Fenner); stepfather , James Baker; father, Gilbert Hardy Sr.; four brothers, Gilbert Hardy Jr., Darelle Hardy (Ronnette), Ronald Wilkins Jr. (Demetria), Keith Page; two sisters, Raynetta Hardy West, Odyssey Wilkins Johnson (Joshua); one great-uncle, Johnny Fenner; one aunt, Christine Young (Hardy). He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends and a devoted long time friend Nady Barns.
