DEVIN MICHAEL CARTER SR. son of Rhonda Jackson and the late Michael Carter Sr. was born November 13, 1986 in Baltimore, Maryland. After a lengthy illness, he completed his earthly duties and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 27, 2023.

Devin, affectionately known as 'Dev' or 'Carter' received Christ at an early age and was baptized at Greater Harvest Baptist Church where he also served as an usher. He enjoyed being around his friends and family, often cracking jokes as part of his kind and sarcastic nature. Growing up, Devin played sports including football and baseball and was a devoted Baltimore Ravens fan.

In 2004, Devin graduated from Baltimore City College High School and attended Morgan State University. Around this time, he also welcomed his first born son, Devin Michael Carter Jr. with his then wife, Ciera Smith. They later welcomed two more children together, twins Jeremiah and Jamiya Carter. in 2020, he welcomed his youngest daughter Ky'Aair Carter with his fiance Fre'Keira Jones.

Over the years, Devin worked with Comcast Cable Company following in his father's footsteps. An avid cooker, Devin enjoyed making turkey wings, spaghetti and other dishes. Devin deeply loved his family and was loved by his parents, siblings, relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his father, Michael Carter Sr. and his maternal grandfather, Lawrence Davis Sr.

Devin leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Rhonda Jackson, four sisters, Monique, Angel, Autumn and Danielle; three brothers, Michael Jr., Makhai and Maliek; two sons, Devin Jr.(DJ) and Jeremiah; three daughters, Jamiya, Ky'Air and Harmony; his fiance, Keira Jones; two grandmothers, Rita Brown and Angela Carter; four aunts, Catrice Davis, Cheryl (Peaches) Sharp, Dana Rollins and Tangie Singleton; three uncles, Lawrence Davis, Terrence Davis and Warren Hooper, lifelong devoted friends, Omar, Dave, Armon and Darren; his beloved dog, Kirby and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Although Devin will be deeply missed by all that loved him he will be remembered and held dear to our hearts forever.
