Deloris Ann Odom
September 17, 1942 – May 21, 2026
Deloris Ann Odom was born in Harnett County, North Carolina on September 17, 1942, to her parents, Fred and Georgia Mae Buie. She was the tenth of twelve children and was educated in the Harnett County School System.
Affectionately known as “Ann” by those who loved her, Deloris had an unwavering love for God and a heart full of compassion. If she knew you, she prayed for you. Her faith was evident in the way she loved, encouraged, and cared for others throughout her life.
Ann found joy in the simple things that brought people together. She loved cooking meals for family and friends, playing bingo, cheering on her beloved Baltimore Ravens, and spending precious time with those she loved most. Her warm spirit, kind heart, and loving presence made everyone feel welcomed and cared for.
Above all, Deloris cherished her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose love and wisdom touched generations. Her legacy is one of faith, strength, kindness, and unconditional love.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughters, Priscilla Buie, Deloris Tenner, and Nadine Dove; and her cherished grandchildren, D’Ariqa Seeney, Khufu Phillip-El and Eldrige Rouzer. Though deeply missed, their memories remained forever close to her heart.
She leaves her beautiful legacy to be carried on by her children, Judy Seeney, James “Fred” Seeney, Stephanie Cooper (Sheldon), and Denise Phillip (Kerwyn); her countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and dear friends who will forever cherish her love, prayers, wisdom, and unwavering presence in their lives.
Though she has departed this earthly life, the memories she created and the love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
