DELORES SMITH KOGER, daughter of Jacob and Lillian Smith, was born on January 18, 1953 in Virginia. She departed this life on January 31, 2017.
Delores was lovingly known to her family as Lois.
Delores had strength and courage her entire life, a warm smile with a mind fierce an sharp up to the very end.
Delores attended and graduated from the Baltimore City Public School System.
Because of her love of nurturing and taking care of people, Delores was an In-Home Aid/Nurse Tech. for over twenty years.
Delores leaves to cherish fond memories: two daughters, Linda Bethea and Angela Koger; one son, Leon Koger Jr; one son-in-law, Delmar Bethea; two brothers, Kenneth Smith and Calvin Smith; (one brother pre-deceased her, Lorenzo Smith) nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Karmen Smith and Denise Smith; eight nieces, two nephews and one devoted friend, Kay Bell.
