Deaconess Dutton was a Charter Member, a member of the Deaconess Ministry and a member of the New Unity Choir. As a chair member, she could and would sing. Deaconess Dutton was a Sunday School Teacher and she loved what she did. She always told the Primary Class about the Lord and how he sent Jesus to die for us all. Deaconess Delores Dutton and her husband, Deacon Thomas Dutton (who proceeded her in death) use to clean the church until they got older. Deaconess and Deacon Dutton would change the flowers on the table by the organ for Communion Service and all the church services. They would also do the windows at 3300 Elmira Avenue.
