Delores Cook, daughter of the late Fermer and Mary Taylor was born on May 5, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on March 10, 2017. She received her education in Baltimore City Public Schools. Upon completion of her education she picked up odds and end jobs, one as a laundry attendant in the neighborhood and in the Cleaning Service as well.

She was married to the late James Cook. In her past time she loved to play cards and was known to cut a rug. She loved family gatherings and being around her loved ones.

Delores made numerous friends where ever she went. She was a member of Faith United Baptist and later returned to her family Church Memorial Baptist where she remained until the end of her days.

She leaves to mourn three sons Daryl, Wilbert and Roger; two sons preceded her in death Gary and Charles Taylor; three grandchildren, Danielle Cook, Roger Cook Jr. and Tyrell Cook; two brothers, Fermer Taylor, Charles; two sisters, Margie Pickett and Audrey Thomas; two sister-in-law’s, Rose Taylor and Pamela Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins by the dozens.
