Debbie C Scott

DEBBIE CLEO SCOTT, daughter of the late Irving M. Scott Sr. and Cleo MacKenney, was born on June 20, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on May 30, 2020.

She received her education at Eastern High School in Baltimore. On June 12, 1973, she became employed by the Social Security Administration. She remained a faithful employee until her death. She was a member of the Ministries of Jesus Christ Church.

Debbie had a passion for cooking, baking and reading books.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and longed for the good old days when family get together were many and often.  While she loved her family, her daughter Erica and grandson were the apples of her eyes.

Her long-time companion, Freddie L. Johnson, her stepfather who loved her like his own daughter, Joseph L. MacKenney and her brother, Irving M. Scott Jr. preceded her in death.

Debbie leaves to cherish her fond memories: her mother, Cleo MacKenney; one daughter Erica N. Vaughn; one grandson, Erick S. Broaddus, sisters, Nancy A. MacKenney; Janice L. Brinkley (Gregory); Cleo MacKenney-Bennett (Bobby); Deborah Thomas; brothers, Joseph R. MacKenney (Sherrie); Thomas L. MacKenney (Tracey); Alfred Thomas (Vivian); Douglas White; cousin, Melvin Eggleston; best friend, Doretta Cooper, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
