Darlene Y. Couther

DARLENE YOLANDA COUTHER, was born on August 25, 1961 in Norfolk, VA to the late Ella L. and Noranda V. Couther Sr. On May 29, 2021, Darlene went to her heavenly home. She was preceeded in death by her sister Arlethia and two brothers Noranda Jr. and Anthony. Darlene was educated in Baltimore City Schools. She had a passion for helping sick and elderly people. Her passion led her to work in nursing homes as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant and some private duty work. She also cared for her mother when she became ill.

Darlene was full of life. She loved to laugh and would make you laugh. She enjoyed watching TV and playing electric gamed into the wee hours of the morning. Darlene was loved by many. She leaves to mourn her three children; Tamekia (Andrew), Tavon Sr., and LaSharne, six grandchildren; Lil Peete (who she lovingly called Mook), Tavon Jr., Khiyah, Taylar, Sasha and Amiah, one great-grandson; Bryson, two siblings; Victor Sr. and Jean (Sherman Jr.) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
