Darius T. Kelly

DARIUS TRISTAN KELLY, son of Stephen Sr and Deirdre Kelly, was born on the beautiful day of February 5, 1996 in Baltimore, Maryland. On July 24, 2016, he departed this life and entered Heaven's gates.

At an early age, he gave his life to Christ and was baptized on May 1, 2005 at Israel Baptist Church, joining the youth ministry as a youth
usher. As a child, Darius attended Thomas G Hayes Elementary School, and went on to attend Bluford Drew Jemison STEM Academy. While attending BDJ STEM Academy, he joined the debate team which
awarded several trophies during competitions at Towson University. He also excelled in Robotics at BDJ, which provided him the opportunity to
compete in a National competition in Texas. Chick Webb and Madison recreation centers was his second home where he participated in junior
cotillion and activities, especially the sports he loved. Darius later received his education at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, where he was not only a student, but also a passionate athlete. Darius was very athletic, and loved many sports. His passion and skill for basketball awarded him the opportunity to play for several youth leagues
which include the Carmelo Anthony, Chick Webb and Madison Square recreation center. While playing basketball at Poly, Darius earned the nick-name "Jack", slang for jacking, which is shooting shot after shot.

While working at Notre Dame University as a prep cook he loved coming home giving recipes to cook for his family.

Darius genuinely loved his family, and made numerous friends wherever he went. He possessed a fearless presence, charismatic personality and contagious smile. His playful nature, generous spirit and lively demeanor were like no other. He will sincerely be missed by all that knew him.

Darius leaves many loved ones who cherish his memory: Parents, Stephen Sr. and Deirdre Kelly; Grandparents David and Gloria White, Jean Lynch and Jeff Davis, Bernard and Eunice Stokes; Brothers, Stephen Jr. and Drayus; Sister, Danasha; Nephews, Stephen III, Lundon, and
Nieces, Ashshanay and Stevie; Sister in law, Tina; Aunts, Debbie, "LeeLee", Veronica, Renata, Lanitra, Natasha and Betoya; Uncles; Ronald, "Mooney",Eric and Cedric,; Cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends he loved very much.
