Daisy Lorraine(Lee) Alston, daughter of the late Willie and Ardella Lee, was born December 15, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland.

She departed this life on December 30, 2015 to be with the lord after a very brief illness. Lorraine graduate from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in 1950. She continue her education and graduated from Morgan State College in 1957 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. She was a retiree of Baltimore City Public School Systems where she served as a Paraprofessional for over 40 years. Daisy was also an avid member of the Baltimore Teachers Union as well as the JUGS Womens Group where they sponsored many charitable events.

In 1958 she married her sweetheart Paul Alston, Jr. and to this union 4 children were raised: Larry Stephen, Kerry Jonathan, Paula India and special niece, Zina Terri Pullen. She joined Zion Baptist Church July 2015 and truly loved her church family. Lorraine enjoyed sewing, Christmas in July with her children, cooking, reading, hanging out with her roadies 'Zina and the Crew!!'

We all knew Lorraine for her signature scarves and her witty little sayings.

Daisy Lorraine leaves to cherish the fondest of memories her children: Larry(Linda)Alston of Baltimore, MD. Kerry Alston of Sanford, FL., Paula(Marquis)Townes of Spartanburg, SC., Zina Pullen of Baltimore, MD.; one sister and brother-in-law, Brenda(Truman)Smith; one brother and two sisters-in-laws, Sylvester(Earlene)Davis and Marie Lee; (11) grandchildren, (13) great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law, Elise(Edward)Johnson and brother; Frankie Lee.
