Cynthia Casey

Cynthia Viletta Casey, age 69 passed away peacefully on May 3, 2019 at Future Care Pine View Nursing Home in Clinton, Maryland. She was born on February 28, 1950 in Mt. Hope, West Virginia to the late Lucious Casey and Neola Robinson. Cynthia graduated from Mt. Hope High School June 1968. After graduating high school, she moved to New York to work with her cousin Lucy Johnson. She left New York and moved to Washington D.C. where she had her first two sons, Dante’ and Shon Casey. From Washington D.C., Cynthia moved to Virginia where she studied and received her real estate license and a license in cosmetology.

Cynthia then relocated to Chester, Pennsylvania where she had her third son Thomas Casey. She moved to Baltimore, Maryland in 1992 where she opened her own business as a daycare provider for more than 10 years.

Cynthia leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories her children: Eric, Shon, and Thomas (Dominique); four grandchildren Eric Casey Jr., Aliyah Casey, Thomas Casey II and Nicholas Casey; seven brothers and sisters, Lucious Jr., Bertha, Spencer, Melba, Carlton, Corliss, and Tanga. She is preceded in death by three siblings, Mary, Eric, and Drucilla. Cynthia was also very well loved and will be missed by friends, multiple cousins, uncles, aunts and from the Stephens, Robinson, Johnson and Casey family.
