Clifton Henry Byers, Jr. born July 2, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland passed away on August 28, 2020.
He was the son of the late Madeline K. Byers-Crump and Clifton H. Byers, Sr.
Doodle, as he was affectionately called, was graduate of Fairmount Hill Jr/ Sr. High School. He loved basketball and went to Winston-Salem for college.
He loved talking about how sharp he was and how good he dressed and famously wore his gold chain with the cross on it. He loved carpentry and working with his hands. He loved listening to the Isley Brothers but most importantly he loved his children.
He is survived by a daughter, Charelle Barnes; two sons, Clifton Byers and Charles Byers; one son in law, Carroll Barnes III, 2 daughter in laws, Kimyotta Byers and LaRhaonda Byers; two brothers Rodney Crump and Clifton L. Byers; one sister, Maria Hall; nine grandchildren, Carroll, Brendan, Mason, Sydney, Ronald, Ragan, Sharnajah, Jaylin, and Charles, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Nasir and Mason; one Aunt Edna Kane-Aiden; host of family and friends.
